Karen Cummings
Chief Operating Officer
Karen began her career as a CSR/Ombudsman in the Governor’s Office for the State of Texas, where she managed casework between state agencies and constituents.
After relocating to Missouri, Mrs. Cummings became involved in statewide and national campaigns and initiatives. During this time, she also spent 16 years serving as a C-suite assistant to CEOs and political leaders.
In 2016, Karen joined the agency, bringing to support daily operations across all departments. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, where she oversees a broad range of operational and administrative functions across the organization. Karen also serves as the recorder for the Board of Directors and as the agency’s Security Officer. She is deeply committed to the mission of The Core Collective at Saint Vincent, with a focus on improving the lives of youth and their families.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University).
